The 8th German Zope User Group (DZUG) conference is taking place at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Potsdam near Berlin on June 4th and 5th, 2007. This year the main focus is on the use of Zope within the science community with several exemplary applications highlighted.

In conjunction with science-oriented Python modules Zope offers a secure and flexible platform for scientific location-independent web applications to help universities and scientists cooperate in their research.

Applications for talks and tutorials are accepted until April 1, 2007. Talks should not exceed 30 minutes in length, whereas tutorials should aim for 2 hours. They can be either in German or English.

As always, presentations and tutorials dealing with other Zope-related topics such as Plone or other packages will round out the conference schedule. However, scheduling preference will be given to applications targeting the main conference topic.
